Bird Flu Domains

Hello everybody. wow. I like this forum.

I own approximately 1500 domain names that all have to do with bird flu, pandemic, pandemic flu, h5n1, superflu, etc.... I bought them 9 months ago before anyone had ever heard of a pandemic flu. Most people still haven't heard about it, so it's still way early. Anyway, I bought every name and every extension, so there really aren't any bird flu names available. During a pandemic, most businesses will be forced to conduct their business out of their homes. If they want to start an internet pandemic flu business, they won't be able to use a name that will make any sense, or at least have any reference to pandemic bird flu in it lol.

Anyway, I want to sell the whole package for a pretty cheap price, and I have no idea what I'm doing. If any one could give me any advice, I would really appreciate it.

If you have have no idea what your doing then why the .... did you buy 1500 domain names... thats a big gamble. And to buy them all at once. whew ee.

I have no clue on the value, you should have the market cornered...lol so maybe alot now that there is alot of talk. Has anyone ever offerd to buy any?

I have some bird flu names aswell. I reg them about 10 months ago.

1500 domains, assuming an average registration fee of $8, amounts to $12,000 in renewals. This is a pretty heavy burden for any potential buyer. Without knowing the exact names, it's impossible to give any realistic or accurate advice.

May I ask, is one of the domains BirdFlu.com?

There may be a special interest from various pharmaceutical companies. I would suggest creating a short list of the 10 best names and researching which keywords generate the most searches, highest bids, and are most intuitive in the perception of the general public (authenticity factor as in BirdFlu.com already mentioned). If you've cornered the market with several top key phrases in multiple extensions, then I wouldn't be too quick to sell. Might trim your cost letting go of the worst performing 70% of the 1500 names.
