A fair number of domain investors have felt this way for some time. Quite honestly, I was a little surprised when I first came to domain discussion forums and saw .TV get comparatively little respect."Because TV is moving into being delivered over the Internet -- and some of the big phone companies are building up the infrastructure for that -- you're going to have that experience all together," Gates said.
Some forums (not NamePros) are dominated by what I call dotcom purists ... and they display an overwhelming knee jerk reaction to put down anything non-com. This makes it very difficult to hold down a meaningful conversation about the future of the internet and the role that newer tld's are playing like dotTV or dotMOBI.
