I'm not too impressed with the domains they have in queue... a gem or 2 but that's it IMO

I'm sorry to be critical, but didn't they already try this and fail? And now with their big relaunch, the best domain they have to sell on their big ad-spending day is equitygrant.com? A keyword which isn't even registered in .net?! Maybe they should have spent less money on site sponsorship and PM spam, and instead bought some decent domains to auction off. Particularly if they're only going to auction off 1 domain per day. Even more stinkers are in the queue. DressOrganic.com?!

I have to agree, the domains are certainly preety poor quality.

In terms of the idea of auctioning 1 domain per day IMO is Fantastic however they certainly need to invest in higher quality domains. This is the first time i have seen bido.com and I'm quite surprised to see that the domains are of low quality. Their branding and marketing could see Bido become quite liquid if they had quality domains though with these current names I can't see this taking off.

I do love the layout/theme here on NP though and Bido's site looks great aswell!

not sure about the bido idea... but this form of advertising is damn effective.

i wonder what RJ gets paid for this.. hopefully something like $xx,xxx.. very targeted. the colors are always in your face, hard to ignore. good idea i think..
