Beware the hidden fees

Spaceship Spaceship

I have been thinking of taking advantage of the free .info promotion.

For most of the ones listed here, I can find no information regarding transfer policies.

I started to sign up with idotz.net until I read their agreement which states when transferring ownership of a name, there is a $20 fee.

Anyone know where we can register .info and be able to do a free push?

Thanks

susi

I'd try Namecheap.com. They offer $8.88 transfers or regs... no hidden fees! You can always try me, http://namepros.com/showthread.php?p=315053#post315053 :D

That goes for .com .net .org .info .biz .us

Ah... check out our sales thread if you wish for some cool offers atm

BTW, DomainSite is not free anymore for .info, it's $0.99 :-/

Yup, but unlke most registrars, they use "Account Codes" for pushing, not just usernames... account codes are found on top of the yellow box when you log in.

Most registrars have free pushes, like Directi, Enom, etc....

Well I just said

... I apologize for any self-promotion by saying so, it can be easily deleted.

The other posts were for informational, someone asked abt DomainSite!

LOL, I did edit, I guess that was inappropriate in this forum, excuse the occasional "getting-carried-away" mode :)

And btw, I am in no way in contact with "shade" i just replied to his promotion and just wanted to help out fellow NPers

Cheers!

I registered my free .info domain names at domainsite.com and domaindiscount24.com. Both of them allow free transfer from within their own domain management system, that is, from one account to another account. You may want to use your remaining registrations with these registrars. Domaindiscount24.com is still offering the free .info registration. Good luck!

I just tried to register there and they want my creditcard number before they even create an account.
