RapidNames (www.rapidnames.com)
or
RegisterPal (www.registerpal.com)

I'm taking an informal poll. Which of these two names do you like better for an ICANN Accredited Domain Registrar? Please vote with the poll and feel free to post your comments.

Thanks for your advice! :loveyou:

No question, RapidNames.

You can't get much more derivative than registerpal. Thumbs down on that one.

I would have to say I like RegisterPal better, although I dont think either name is great. RapidNames doesnt make me think of domains at all, whereas registerpal does

RegisterPal makes one think of PayPal, rapidnames on the other hand gives a more orginal look/brand.

RapidNames doesn't equate to registering names IMO.

RegisterPal sounds "namey" so I would lean towards that at first glance.

I like RegisterPal a lot, it looks friendly, professional. There's maybe a little ring to it that sounds familiar with PayPal. But in fact, is it really a bad thing ? PayPal is one of the most successfull company online. A lot of people are confused as hell with domain names. A friendly and warm approach would sell.

RapidNames ? I don't like it. Does this mean that you update to the registry database faster? I don't think speed is a selling point in domain name. Most people want to secure their name first. It sounds like "Hey! My domain's faster than yours!". It could work well for a snap service but I dont like it as a registrar.

Goodluck in the decision process, thats still 2 quality names.
Merry Christmas,

Matt

Went with RapidNames.com. The "Register" names just feel too generic or common to me and creating a noticeable brand is key.

Both sounds equally well to me
Where is the "both" button? ;)

Wow, I myself was having a hard time deciding between the two... I have my own opinion of each good and bad, but don't want to sway the vote either way. I really didn't expect it to be so close in this poll.

RegisterPal 21 Votes 48.84%
RapidNames 22 Votes 51.16%

Thanks for the feedback everyone. Best focus group around. ;)

:imho: I think you should do both, I mean, its not going to be hard set both up, or maintain both, and as it stands now, you seem to have a big following of people for both, so both would seem in light to do well. But thats just my Opinion. And I voted for "pal" based on this: As a new person to domains I would want something that sounded familar, something that sounded inviting.

But then on the other hand, someone who has been around a while would go with rapid, because it sounds fast and quick for them.

LOL, do both!!!!!

Good Luck man!
