Everyone! There is an option out there that is better than QWERTY. You may or may not have heard about it. I didnt know about it until like four hours ago. It's called the Dvorak Keyboard and it was invented in the early 1900's with speed in mind. Because the QWERTY keyboard was designed with the sole purpose of preventing jamming with the keystrokes, it proves inneficient. I suggest you try it out.
I just switched to the Dvorak Keyboard layout and I must say that it is turning out very nice. I've only been using it for about three hours and already I am getting the hang of it.
It's really easy to switch. You can buy a keyboard, but it's easier just to pop out the keys and replace them according to the layout and then going into control panel and switching the layout. I suggest you do it. It's honestly better.

You can go to this site for more information-

Never heard of it sounds interesting though. I think I'll do a little research into it since I could learn how type without looking at the keyboard.

I'm so used to the way the "mainstream" keyboards are set up, that I couldn't really even attempt it. Louzy habbits.. meh

OK, so you learn Dvorak, and whenever you go to your school, office, cyber cafe, you won't be able to type!
