Hi guys,

Just registered BESTMOVE.INFO on GoDaddy.

I'm considering developing this one. Any thoughts?

The .com, .net, .org, .biz and .us versions of this domain were already registered. My impression was that the domain name fits reasonably well with a .info TLD, but I could be mistaken.

If the other major extensions were taken, and .info fits better, the domain is worth more. "Info on the Best Moves", it could work. Low-mid $xx -- it could work as an informational mini-site.

Thanks very much for the appraisal - really appreciate it!

But hmm, not sure in which direction to take development in order to make this domain work. According to Overture, top matches for this keyphrase include soccer(!), chess, removals, adult, US sports, and dance.

I'm tempted to think that a site focusing on board games and/or turn-based PC games would be the best "fit" to the name/TLD combo, but that doesn't necessarily mean that this is the best topic to focus on here.

As soon as I seen the name I thought of chess.
After reading the rest of the posts, I would agree
that a board game info site, like how to checkmate
in so many moves. Or the strategies about it.
I like the name...definetly fits with the tld :imho:

another has info on buying homes

another has info on picking a good mortgage loan, calculating payments, when to refinance, etc.

Thanks for the awesome responses everyone! So many possibilities - wish I could make a site on all of them at once but presumably that wouldn't be such a stellar idea. It's times like these when I really start to appreciate the value of more "straightforward" domain names! :hehe:
