Hello,

I've been wondering what the best way for SEO is to have links on your site, in terms of navigation. Which of the following ways are the best:

1. relative linking - does not show a link in its entirety and only shows the relative position from where it originates (say, a link from my main page pointing to: "gallery/index.html")

2. absolute linking - writes out the full path of the url (say, "http://www.domain.com/gallery/index.html")

3. document root linking - your links always go back to the root of your site; sort of like absolute linking (example: "/gallery/index.html")

opinions? Why?

absolute if your keywords are in your domain. document rooting if not.
