Best value featured listing

Hi Guys,

I'm planning to pay for a couple of featured listings, but I'm not sure which is the best value. I had the domains appraised here about a month ago (Income.info, Fax.info). If I was looking to rate on;
- value for money
- best chance of making a sale
- most exposure to the right people
which would be the best :? I don't know whether I should go with Afternic, Sedo, GreatDomains, Pool or maybe some other company. But the most important thing for me is to make a sale. Any suggestions would be great.

Well I head good things about Afternic feature domains.

First submit names to Afternic SHOWCASE, if accepted its FREE but you must give them exclusive selling rights for six months. Afternic Featured more money than SEDO but better IMO.

look at dnjournal http://www.dnjournal.com/domainsales.htm to one word dot info sales results, and you will start love info's . you may have great sales with those domains, no matter where you will sale them. But in this journal, as you can see most of that info sales done or prvt, or with Sedo. good luck!

Thanks, I've just ordered an appraisal with Afternic, I had to before they accept a featured listing, when this comes through I'll pay for a featured listing with them. I think your right, Afternic does look like better value at the moment. I'll let you know how I go if you guys are interested. :blink:

Are there any other featured listings which may be worth checking out?

I would go to Sedo > GreatDomains > Afternic.

It sometimes depends on the domain name since GreatDomains don't accept just any domain.

Sedo, having a greater following in Europe, seems to do better with .info domains, as they are more accepted in the European countries where they have their roots and a good following of buyers. I get more info offers from sedo, but do better on .com at afternic. Featured should follow this traffic pattern as well.

But on Sedo if you want to save some money instead of getting the main showcase for $39 you can get a catogory showcase for i think $9. You can choose two catogories and they will show on top.

Hi,

I sold three domains in the Afternic showcase Ads/Fax/Income .info, I know its an old thread but I said I'd let you guys know how I did with your suggestions. It looks like Afternic was the best overall. :tu: :tu: :tu:

Also, names were appraised here too Appraisal for Ads.info/ Fax.info/ Income.info and I got within $500 of what you guys said. Also I think Ads.info at $5100 is the highest .info sale this year...

Overall the advice has been great, so thanks a lot. :blink:
