Hi
I’m not sure if you’re aware, but it’s possible to register domains at a lower cost through Google Workspace. I have personally registered 10 domains this way. Domains acquired via Workspace are managed through the Squarespace panel.
While attempting to sell these domains on Afternic, I noticed they weren't receiving any hits. The root cause is that Squarespace does not support the 'Fast Transfer' feature. Consequently, your domains do not appear in searches on platforms like ExpiredDomains. Furthermore, even if you search for the domain name (without the extension) on Google Auctions, it unfortunately doesn't show up in the results. It's quite frustrating considering Afternic and GoDaddy are in partnership, yet this issue persists.
SEDO, however, has a distinct advantage. Their version of the Fast Transfer system is called SEDOMLS. While Squarespace domains cannot utilize this specific system either, I suspect that domains listed on SEDO might still appear under the SEDO tab on the ExpiredDomains site. Although I’m not entirely certain, I believe showing up in that section would at least provide some visibility. This, in turn, should increase the probability of a sale.
Given these circumstances, wouldn't listing Squarespace domains on SEDO be more advantageous compared to Afternic?
Thanks for all comments.
