Best place to sell DNs? Tried Ebay - Disappointing results.

Hi all,

I did a search here but did not find any conclusive results...

In your opinion, where is the best place to sell lower-priced DNs? I specialize in LLLLL.com pronounceable, catchy DNs.

I've tried to sell a number on Ebay today with disappointing results (could've been the holiday weekend - not sure.) :td:

All my domains are parked on Sedo.com but the only response I've gotten so far from that are spammers trying to get one to pay for appraisals.

I would suggest listing them here. You have some nice brandable domains. Also check the wanted area, someone could be looking for domains like those. I have found ebay is a buyers market- you can pick up names very cheap there.

I would recommend listing them with TDNAM and Sedo - Sedo is free and TDNAM is only a few dollars for an annual membership. The more places you post the domain name, the more likely its going to come across someone who may be interested it. Also try the Forums as a great place to Advertise. Good luck!

Thanks for your responses guys! I will check out some of the options you recommend. I think I've had such good luck with Ebay in the past for non-domain name items that I naturally thought it would work well for this purpose.

A follow-up question: I've noticed that most DN-selling sites have a search feature that enables a prospective buyer to locate DNs. This is great if you have a DN that is obvious for a particular category, such as xbox360tips.com. But what about non-word, pronounceable DNs such as mine? Aside from paying the extra $$ to be on the front page or the featured list are there any other ways to sell this type of DN?

In this particular case - you definetly want to pepper the forums. List your domains in the for sale section and read up on people searching for domains - there are always people looking for brandable short names. Keep trying - if your names are any good - someone will want them!
