Best Name Drive Template

I have nearly 10,000 domains parked at Name Drive producing over 500,000 views a month so I feel confident to state that the 'Canvas 2' template has provided the best click through rate on my portfolio, except for adult domains, that perform better on the 'Adult Light' template in my opinion.

What template is everybody else achieving best results with?

I prefer Canvas. I think most, if not all, of my normal domains are now on Canvas and doing well.

Adult domains are doing great on Adult Canvas. 35-80% CTR (7% on domain with Russian traffic). I'm happy with those results so I never tried changing them.

I'm tempted to move that crappy Russian trafficked domain onto Adult Light and see if I can get better than 7% on it (for a few more measly cents)

I prefer the look of the standard NameDrive page & the light Adult page.
Unfortunately NameDrive did'nt perform to well for me on most my names as they got far less traffic than at sedo. :td:

I am in the middle of testing one at NameDrive that has over 5000 incoming links and it is performing far better at NameDrive than sedo so far, slightly less click through rate at about 40% but better payout per click.

Do you think that the Canvas templates do better with search engine traffic Domainiac or do you think they are just more tempting to click on ??

Interesting. I've tried experimenting, but mainly use either the default ND template, or the new JSX.

I agree that the Adult templates are great for adult domains.

canvas has the 'cleanest' view IMHO for all types of name including AO.

Good thread guys, keep it going. I have been using the default and mixing the headers. I have switched a few over to the Canvas and Canvas 2.

For adult I have been using the Adult Canvas, getting decent results.

I think the Canvas 2 does better because it displays ads directly plus it gives other search suggestions like the portal. So if you got your keywords wrong, you may still get some clicks, plus you can discover, the correct keywords, through the search results.

No, the Blook domains don't make any money... but they are For Sale

In fact reg fee is more than your calculations, as they are nearly all ccTld's ranging between $12.00 and $70.00.

There are about 4,000 not making reg fee, so when we let these drop we will have the books balanced.

Thats the same way we work...
(tho, we only work (99%) with .com's )

If the domain does not make $6.75 and it has not selling value
we let them drop. If the domain makes the $6.75 we renew for 2 years.

When the cctld's are $20 or $30 a pop, you have to have a lot of confidence in the domains you reg. Not only are they costing more than .com's to register, but if the traffic is from outside Europe and the US, the click rate is generally lower too.

I have some I'm letting drop too that are make me NOTHING. I wish we could reg for shorter periods of time. :lol:

Well through Evibe Nederland (my company) we are a SIDN registrant (for .nl domain names)
so we the best price there... tho, i try to focus my domain names now
on only .com's
