Best Money Transfer options ?

whats the best Money Transfer option USA to a south Asian country like India or Sri Lanka ? Someone said Western Union is the best option though they are expensive. Anyone know their fee for money transfers ?

Their fees depend on the amount you want to transfer and the countries.

At the bottom of the right-hand column they have a calculator ('Price it'), it gives you some options of money transfer and you can get an idea of what it may cost.

WU is very convenient though expensive. Maybe ask the people you want to pay about other ways they can accept money. We're paying someone in China by simply transfering funds to their e-card.

Anyone else have experience with sending money to Asia?

Can you use paypal for it? I think Indian can open a paypal account too.

hey Katya thx for the info , seems Western Union takes $10 fee for $500 or something like that. but its not bad since they are secure and reliable
