After spending some time here at Namepros I have come to the following conclusions regarding
domain registration.Comment if you will.
The best place by and far for registering names is at Namepros.I say this not because this is a namepros forum but because of the following advantages.
1)It is extremely simple to do.No credit card details,no paypal transactions to enter-just click "register" and $NP are automatically transfered and the name is registered and in your account.
2)It is convenient-you can register a domain in seconds while routinely reading the forum posts and you don't have to log on to another site.
3)You don't have to worry about support as many mods here and a large member base can assist with any questions.You know you're concerns won't go unheard while on hold for a long distance call.
4)You enjoy all the benefits of Enom accounts such as free pushes and easy account management.
5)You have a ready made base of buyers and sellers here(all with ready made NP domain accounts) at namepros who you can make
easy transfers to.By and large they are not an unknown quantity as are many buyers you are contacted by from outside the forum, as they often have reputation and buyer/seller ratings
to refer to.
6)Transfers can be conducted with NP$(no fees!) which is instantaneous as is the domain transfer to the members.
7)It supports a fine community.
It may not be a common approach but as a buyer I would be much more inclined on buying a domain from a seller if I knew there was an easy namepros transfer attached rather than having to recieve it at Flybynight Domains or GoTakeAHike.
