Would like you folks' take on Beep.IM (chat site)

I'm working on developing the site right now but was curious how much the name alone would cost. This would be a chat focused website with greater mobile integration in the future.

Also, would the price of a domain increase if it is on the top when searching on Google? I searched for Beep.IM and it is among the top results.

while beep is quite fit with im...it is a good name for chat site ...

but if just talk domain price, i dont think it will have nice reseller price, the whole .im name is not really in good shape...but if there is someobe have same dev idea like u, they may think is is very nice name and want pay big $.

so, keep ur dev, build a great site....
