Becoming a Domain Reseller Query

So I am wanting to become a domain reseller, however, I have searched this forum and others but am unable to decide who to go with. I have heard that WildWestDomains is good, as is Directi, so it would probably be with one of these. With Directi, you need to deposit funds - is it possible to get these back or must they be spent on domains, etc? I am completely new to the idea of reselling so any help from an experience member would be highly appreciated

I think you'll do well to search the forum for "enom reseller" (ie: http://www.namepros.com/enomsignup.php , although there are older reseller accounts available for sale at $6.95 pricing) and then "WWD reseller" (ie: http://www.targetdomain.com/ ) to get some perspective.

Everything has some kind of up-front cost (Even enom you have to deposit money for folks to be able to spend their own money through you...), but which reseller works best will depend on what it is you are shooting for. Member nrnf has done some great comparison pieces in the past.

I'm with DirectI, now ResellerClub for a couple of years already. I like it. I'd like to know why most prefer Enom though... does anybody have a good comparison of both?

I'm not sure if this is the best method - but by that I really do mean that "I am not sure" - not using any rhetorical device.

It was my understanding that your reseller provider (Unless you pre-load your account from eNom for the pricing level you want) can see/control all of your domain names - the last thing you want is to have an unethical upline controlling your domains.
