Hello. All those free .be's are coming up for renewal. And I'm going to be renewing about half of mine. Any thoughts of where to transfer them to? Nucleus.be is decent, but a bit expensive. I noticed OVH.com has a decent price, but no experience with them. Any other recommendations?

Thanks,
vrc

I have some .be at Nucleus.be. They are doing a buy 1 get 1 free promotion when you renew .be. But I'm not sure if it's also valid for transfer.

I think I will stick to nucleus.be.

Before you transfer read this:
http://dns.be/en/home.php?n=49

and make sure you understand the peculiarities such as:

Cost

DNS will charge the transfer to the new agent. A transfer is viewed as a new registration: the cost is therefore the same, and the renewal date changes to the date of transfer. No surplus will be carried forward from the previous period.

Transfer/change of ownership for .BE (and other ccTLDs) does not work in the same fashion as .com for example.

And for those who may not know: even if the registrar allows push for .be domains, this will effectively transfer control of the domain but not change the registered owner.

OVH.com is cheaper than Nucleus (about half price) but their interface is crappy IMO. However I believe they may have a new version.
