Any BF 2 fans in here??

I got the game yesterday and it REALLY rocks.. :D

I've setup a 32 Players public Battlefield 2 server now.
No password protection for now, so everyones invited.

Just moved so I'm only on ISDN right now, because of that the game was a bit laggy but still playable on dial-up all the way from Norway.
Looking forward to getting my shiny new 4.4Mbit ADSL line next week..

I wish I could play, but I downloaded the demo, and it didn't work... I just got a black screen on startup, and it crashed to my desktop... that really sucks, because I LOVE 1942. I have a nice computer and everything... it's just the ram that has faults, and I new a new one! But it costs like 45 bucks (512)... If someone can give me a better price (I actually found one for 42 bucks, but it's a little too high for me still. I know it's a great deal, but... still lol.

I'm on a tight budget, so I think I'm probably gonna get the GeForce 5900... does anyone know much about this card? I found it on pricegrabber for 98 dollars from newegg (very trusted source). Has anyone heard anything bad about this card?

Naa i just dont like Geforce cards i like ATI made cards although installing their drivers is pain in the a.s.s Try some hardware forums like anandtech etcc...

i wish i had the money to get a new computer and that game because all i use right now is a Pentium II 333 Mhz system and i seriously doubt that Battlefield 1942, yet alone Battlefield 2 will run on a system this slow

:imho: the best battlefield 2 maps are - Strike at Karkand - Kubra Dam & Gulf of Oman ( which can be played with the demo ) - there is a forum somewhere for the people with the wrong shaders g. card for bf2 that soft mods ur gfx card. but things like tanks etc. are like florescent green as oposed to the shader colour lol.

Yup, still up and running..

But not Ranked yet..
EA seems to have a problem distributing the Ranked server images to new gameserver hosts, probably because of the recent hacker attacks...

But it will be Ranked real soon (I hope..) :D
