Hi all,

Suppose I own runningmat.com. (I do) I registered it for a whole $12 total, purely for learning and documentation purposes. I now want to build a website for it, and try to monetize this project in some way shape or form. In your experience, what is your thought process from here on out. I am very open to constructive criticism. Again, this is a test run for my own learning and documentation purposes to pick people's minds. Thank you very much in advance. I have absolutely no other tools but your suggestions. :)

It has a strong extension and the name flows very well, which is great because it makes it memorable.

If you are serious about using it as a test run and own that domain, PM me.

Develop and one of the monetize methods is adsense.

Google Keyword Planner only shows 210 monthly searches and even with an awesome well-developed site you would only reach a portion of those searches (advertisers above organic results, many choices even on page 1). I would choose a better keyword before spending valuable time on developing a fitness site. Several years ago I developed several fitness-oriented sites and inserted Youtube videos. Over time, some of those videos dropped and I haven't even looked at them in years. Click through rates with Adsense on fitness sites were less than 1% and Amazon affiliate links never converted. Before Penguin and Panda kicked in Rutinas.TV was getting traffic of 10k visitors a month, now only a fraction of that.
