ditto!! would love to see your portfolio Bannen :)

Actually my portfolio is dwindling and largely unexciting these days. A couple years back I gave almost all my minisite domains/sites to my domaining partner, there were about 80 of them. Since then I've only built 5 or 6 minisites from new domains, minisites are quite dead. Have let a lot of names drop, so I'm down to just over 100 domains I think. Only a couple worth 5 figures, maybe a dozen worth 4 figures, and the rest worth 3 figures or even What The Hell Did You Reg That One For.

But as you can tell I haven't been active lately, on this forum or with domains. This time of year I like to spend in a condo up at the local ski hill, where I don't get internet (and I have yet to enter the 21st century and actually get a mobile phone). I love the quiet, and am working on a book. In fact I may not domain at all over the next year while I write the book, other than checking in here occasionally and checking for offers at Sedo etc. Had only 4 offers in the last month, but lost them all, ha ha, because it was too long until I responded to each offer, since I was coming to town less than once each week.

Also just bought a new motorcycle, a nice big shiny new cruiser that eats up the road and pounds my nads with its growling vibes. Sorry to plant that image in your tender minds. Planning on some long distance trips starting in a week or so... whenever it stops raining around this part of the country :)

Anyway, sorry to take up all your time with a story rather than a list; just wanted to explain why I haven't been around here much and won't be over the next while, except a quick check-in once in awhile to see whassup lately with you all and the forum. In town for the last while, but tomorrow heading back up to the sticks.

It's a lot of fun here at Namepros, I do miss being active and contributing to these lists and other posts. Keep fingers crossed and maybe I'll be more active again once I settle down after the summer.

Take care, and thanks to anyone who is brave enough to spend their valuable life energy and time in actually perusing my lists here, ha ;)

Good Luck With Your Book Bannen. In our country, we say that to be a complete person you need to do 3 thinks before you die.

What kind of a book are you writing?

I'm a writer and publisher as well, so these things always interest me.

I also own Poets.net and am always looking for interesting short pieces (not just poetry, but also fiction and creative non-fiction. I recently posted a chapter from Betty's Child, a published memoir--not mine).

Today, I just posted a poem from an 18-year-old Ghanaian.

If your funny posts are any indication of your writing talent, then there may be place for you on Poets.net.

;)

1 - don't remember if I planted any trees, but I saved a lot of forest so I hope that counts - I worked as a firefighter for the forest service for a few years when I was younger.
2 - may have a child, not quite sure. It's a long story.
3 - been planning, wanting, writing parts and taking notes for this book for about 20 years. Nice to have a bunch of open time in front of me to actually accomplish it.

What kind of a book are you writing?

It's a (egad) book on the mind... helpful book but not religious or medical or spiritual or self help per se...
Difficult to describe, but it's entitled simply CLEAR. A huge undertaking but an easy read. Intend it to be life-transforming, to me and to others, without all the dogma and metaphysical facade of most such books these days.

Okay, I'm out the door and up to the hill.

Back in town in a couple or few days, be well :)

Bannen,

I can completely understand your reasoning and I hope you find peace up in them hills. Meanwhile on a much softer note...if you need someone to take your portfolio off your hands :) haha jk!

I hope to see you back someday I really enjoyed the laughs and great lists you provided! May gold bless your road and may karma show you the same treatment as you have bestowed upon us with lists and friendship.

Take Care

Hi again, diehard fellow Namepros; here's a very short list of availables, you can tell I didn't have much to do with domaining over the summer. Just moved to Victoria B.C. and getting settled in; riding my new motorcycle on lots of daytrips over these beautiful seaside roads; still writing on my book and will be for a long while yet;
But hope, now that I've moved in, to slow down a bit, ease back into some tentative domaining.
But enough about boring ol' me, what you're really here for is another list! It's short, but there's a few worthy ones. Enjoy.

HoodieBackpack/s.com - these are becoming more popular with kids and youths.
HoodedBackpack/s.com
GoldenCasterSugar.com - 5400 monthly searches.
MuchJewelry.com
GreenCoffeePowder.com
DestinationGoal/s.com
Halfricans.com - sing taken. Google it; the kind of word that may or may not catch on.
inlinking.com - hmmm.... I really really wanted this... very attractive... just a little leery of the TM on 'inlink'... you decide for yourself. It was regged for a few years, now dropped. Maybe they had legal trouble over it? Who knows. 50/50 chance, but I'll stay away.
DoubleTheData.com

Fredalupe.com - a name.
YourselfVideo/s.com
YourselfBlog.com
YourselfTV.com
ThingsYouSay.com
ShieldingBlanket/s.com
WirelessHeadache.com
EnergyStool/s.com - these are spiritual things you sit on. I know, I know, looks more like a brandable name for some power-colon-cleansing product; Hey, rocket out those bowel movements!
OddTechnologies.com - TM? Might be a problem, might not, with the owners of oddtech.com.
Buckola/s.com - slang for dollars; Spare a few buckolas? Also name of a cereal (don't know if TM), a surname, etc.

CorpseDetector.com - a new invention for the police.
SaveInside.com - hmmm... another attractive one. Saving/sInside.com are both taken...
PsychoPal.com - it's like Paypal or Penpal, only instead of sending money to someone or finding someone to write to, you try to find someone to eviscerate in a blood-frenzied battle to the death. Great fun, sign your kids up, better than clubpenguin!
SafeForHealth.com
SeeOurShowroom.com - new car pics, new home pics...

Petroianu.com - a surname.
GravyPowder.com
CakeDishes.com
KitchenToolkit.com
CubeTable.com - 390. Plur taken. Lot of nifty styles of these. Back in the minisite heyday I'd have developed this one for sure. But I'm not doing minisites any more so it's yours if you want it.

Nice to hear from you and glad that things are working out. I thought the most useful part of the post was "But I'm not doing minisites any more".

I see what would have been killer names a while ago in the bargain bin.

KitchenToolKit.com is tempting me though. Maybe if I dither long enough someone else will take it :)
