I doubt I'll ever sell it, unless there's a strangely large offer; but I don't know much about the value of personal name dn's and would still like your appraisals.

Nearly any surname that's not incredibly obscure is worth quite a bit. I've never met anyone with the name, but apparently there are plenty out there.

Nice name. Should be worth at least a couple grand to a vanity email company.

Thanks PC. I coined the name way back in the early '90's - before I'd even heard of Ian Bannen; or maybe I'd just forgotten him.
I use it as a pen name, nickname, spiritual name, whatever.
Only other Bannen's I've found are a Chevrolet dealership and a firm that I think does credit reports etc., Bannen Enterprises. Not that I've looked much.

No plans to sell, and doubt I'd get a high enough offer anyways, esp since Ian Bannen isn't around anymore. Guess I'll just have to hurry up and become famous to drive the name's value up more. I do know how to make some interesting clicking sounds with my nasal cavity, but I don't know if that will translate into Hollywood work at all...
