new gTLD BAM.tech for $15,000. What is so special about the name?

Just noticed the sale of BAM.tech for $15,000 on Sedo.

What makes the domain so special to be sold at that price?

If I were the owner of the name, I wouldn't even think of getting $5,000 for the domain name.

I am going to take a stab in the dark and here say that BamTech.net (developed) wanted the .COM but its developed as well so they bought Bam.Tech instead


...or the .COM owners thought it might be useful to them?

Someone timed this domain purchase well. The seller's asking price could've gone from $15k to $1mil real fast.

BAM is also a company which produces high quality stringed instruments cases, but I would doubt they're the ones behind the sale.
