Wanted Backordr.com ccTLD drop catching service is now live!

It’s been a while since I’ve posted here, but the ccTLD drop catching service I’ve been using personally is now live.

Backordr.com is currently in beta, but we have been very successful in catching a large percentage of the domain names we target.

Do you have .io registry access? EPP and such?

If so how long have you been a .io registrar? I enquired not too long ago and I was told I need ICANN and .com accreditation first.

If only I had become a .io registrar when it was £300..

I'd be wary of .io until the Brexit issue regarding that territory is resolved.

I don't think there is anything to worry about. The most likely scenario is that ICB will no longer have rights to maintain .io and that Mauritius will take control themselves, as it's a nice revenue earner for them. But everything will pretty much continue as is. Maybe there will be registrar or pricing changes but .io is safe. There is very little if any chance of .io being shut down.

Yes we are an ICANN accredited registrar. For now we will support ccTLDs, but I think if things grow well enough, we can jump into .com and .net.
