Backordering domains

Hello,

Another noob question from me. If you backorder a domain will it still go to auction when the domain expires?, or will you automatically get it if you're the only one who's put in a backorder?.

I guess it changes from registerer to registerer. I started to use snapnames to backorder domains. If nobody else bids on the domain, you automatically get it if they manage to acquire the domain.

At most places, if you are the only one who have backordered a domain, you'll get it automatically without any auction.
