Backorder Pending Delete or Just Wait?

Hi,

There's a domain I'm interested in that is now in Pending Delete status. It's an enom domain and is listed on NameJet as having a closing time for bids in less than 24 hours. No one has bid on it. It's also listed on SnapNames as order by tomorrow's date. No bidders.

So, do I pay $60 and backorder it? Or, do I wait, let it drop and just be here trying to buy the name myself once it drops?

Obviously it's not a premium name. It's one I want, though.

Backordering is significantly more money. But...what do you think?

Thanks

This isn't an advertisement at all .

Nicely played DynaDot advertiser.

Even if this was a legit thread, you don't even have to tell us the domain, if you caught it using a $8.00 dropcatch service it must have been something like ShoeHam.com or CashBird.com.

Who else did you backorder it with?
I tried to backorder it with Pheenix, but by the time I read the messages here and set up an account, it was too late. Minutes later, I got the message from DynaDot.

what was the domain? :D
I'd rather not say...I'm sure you understand. I will say that it's not anything most people would have been fighting for. Only a few of us would have had an interest. I have a name that is exactly like the one I got yesterday, but it is slightly longer because that's what I had to do because the one I got yesterday was taken. Now I own it! I'm happy.

Thanks again everyone.

No, this wasn't an ad. I really wanted advice. And, yeah, I'm glad I didn't spend more.

The name is good...I'm glad I have it. But, it's probably only interesting to a small niche which is perfect because it's the niche I want to dominate. I already had the new domain name plus a three-letter word. Now I have just the name. Kind of like this:
BigTopGuy dot c0m is like what I already owned.
BigTop dot c0m is like what I now also own.

As far as competition...hey, it would have only taken one other person to steal this domain away from me. I wanted it and thus my concern. I'm actually very excited about having the name.

In case anyone is wondering, I plan on developing this domain. I'm not at this time considering its value in the resale market.

Take care. Thanks again
