Leaving comments on other peoples blogs is a GREAT way to get one-way links to your website, increasing the traffic to your website significantly as search engines pick up the links. The problem is, many blogs use the 'nofollow' tag which prevents search engines from seeing your link in the comment. SOLUTION FOUND! Neil Shearing has created software that allows you to find blogs in your specific niche that do not use the 'nofollow' tag. Then you simply read the blogs, leave an intelligent, well-thought out reply in their comments, and you have genuine one-way links to your site that search engines will devour. No spamming! You need to put a little effort into reading the blogs you find, and leaving genuine comments of interest.

You've gotta try this software. It really IS free, and Neil is a fantastic, trustworthy guy.

Have fun, and let me know what you think!

It's at: http://www.reallinkfinder.com

(this is not an ad. I get nothing out of this. I'm just a happy user of this software)

Thanks for the find. When I visit a blog and fill in a comment though, the submit button doesn't work :-/

Hey Gene,

First of all - thanks for sharing. But is it just me or does this tool not work so well? I can't seem to find very many blogs at all for any keywords. I even tried some obvious ones like "blog" or "internet" which I would expect to return a lot of results. Couldn't ever find more than a couple each. I also tried some software that claimed to do the same thing called CommentKahuna - same problem as well. Is there something obvious I'm missing?

Thanks in advance.

fish: set the number of blogs to search to at least 100, then make sure you keep hitting the [next] button. That tells it to search through 100 blogs at a time, and you may get only a few sites for each 100 searched that match your criteria. Each time you hit the [next] button, you'll get a few more sites.

Oh...I understand now. I was only searching 10 at a time. This seems to work great, and the built-in browser is a plus. Thanks for your help.

I found another site that lets you search dofollow blogs - which works best if you want to raise your PR - www.commenthunt.com

Just remember to always be constructive in blog participation and be insightful and helpful in your comments. Don't spam as the blog owners gets angry :D

Hope this helps as well ;)
