    Hi everyone,

I am practicing finding available .com domain names using variations of the word bet. I am just testing my creativity to hone in on my best skills. As of today, 5/15/19, these names are available to register along with the GoDaddy Appraisal amounts.

    betacrosstheboard $1122
    betatthebay $1212
    betonthebay $1404
    betexam $1601
    betscholars $1466
    betsportschannel $1206
    betthestory $1327
    bettingexam $1437
    betlingual $1423
    betforced $1405
    betforces $1535
    betyourdomain $1316
    capbets $1460
    dareyoutobet $1239
    downtownsportsbets $1018
    hubbets $1430
    letssportsbet $1322
    letussportsbet $1154
    markyourbet $1328
    puresportsbets $1175
    puresportsbetting $1224
    rewardingbets $1240
    sportsbetlives $1243
    sportsbetlingo $1043
    sportsbetrewards $1290
    sportsbetwithus $1134
    starbettors $1333
    teachbets $1274

I thought this is a good way for me to share some names and see what results from it without taking the risk. I want to register some of these myself but rather than make more beginner mistakes I will sit back, watch and learn from any feedback. I couldn't resist grabbing one myself though. Can you guess which one? :)

Let us know which names you like / dislike and if you make a bet by grabbing any. Thank you.

This really shows the limitations inherent with automated valuations.

Good luck and happy betting, future!

Yes it does and the limitations of the experts in this game because someone programmed it.

    Not really.

Valuation cannot really be automated, no matter how brilliant the programmer is with domains.

Are you a programmer? That sounds defensive.

No. If I was a programmer, I wouldn't have time to obsess on domains.

What is often elusive is that domains cannot be valued by an appraisal formula, the way diamonds and real estate are.

Domains are valued, in some respects, like fine art. Their uniqueness is a blessing and a curse. Comparable sales only go so far in their usefulness.

There is a chasm of value between money.com and noney.com.
Visually, the difference is not huge. But, one is meaningful and the other is not.

Each domain is inherently unique from the others, preventing the creation of an industry standard appraisal formula.

If domain values could be automated, banks could finance domain acquisitions. Currently, that's not possible.

You speak my mind... or rather what I have been drumming for years. Any appraisal, no matter how thorough it seems, is a waste of time.

Platforms like Estibot - all they do is play spoilers in domain aftermarket, creating doubts about domain values to end users.
