theuniverse, try to cut your large list on small lists.

P.s. If you need, for money, I can scan your large list.

go to RegistrarStats and click on Bulk Search on the left to go to this page

(if you enter a big list make sure you choose a large number on "Records Per Page" on the right)

however , I don't know how reliable the results are (though the site is owned by eNom)

eg. I tried a couple that are registered for sure and they appear as available ?!?!?

but in the past I remember it was giving correct results

worse case scenario , just see the interesting stats in the homepage and search for another checker lol

Paste your list of domains into the "Enter domains here" box. You can enter up to about 10,000 at a time I believe.

Well, it "works" for me :)
I can't really help you unless you elaborate on what you mean by "it is not working."

yeah , I told you something is wrong with that bulk search on RegistrarStats but I thought I mentioned it in case it was working for you (or in case you could get some partial info regarding your searches)

strange though since the site is owned by eNom

but at least the stats in the homepage are rather interesting eh ? lol

What happens if you try pasting a smaller number of names -- say, 10 or 100?

If you'd like a free scanner of your own to scan up to 3000 names
at a time - This one is free

make sure you follow these steps: click "New" button from the toolbar, in the appeared dialog window enter domain names into listbox below "Enter domain here" or just click "Load..." button to load domain list from text file.

What operating system are you using?

Did this get resolved? If you can't {cut and } paste ("not even 1 word"), it sounds like a Windows [OLE] issue. In other words: time for a reboot.

Don't you even able to click "Load..." button?

PS. So what's your Windows version?

So does that mean you 'have' rebooted since the time when this problem first started? Even if you 'can' paste into other sites forms, it is not unusual that a memory/OLE handler problem can affect only certain programs or websites.

Other than that, would need to know specifically what you are trying to do. i.e. Are you trying to copy (cut) a a list of names from a MS Word doc? or from an Excel worksheet? or ? to see if the names are available to register?

You can also try to cut, then paste into a simple-text editor such as MS Notepad first, and then cut from Notepad and try to paste into your webform. Simple-text programs such as Notepad don't recognize rich-text or any other formatting codes that come along when you cut/paste from programs such as Word or Excel.

*****IMPORTANT REMINDER: You will find plenty of posts on this forum as well as others regarding domain name sniping and other suspect situations where after a domain name lookup that you perform, but neglect to register the name immediately, you find that the name is "coincidentally" registered the next day by someone else. Therefore it is advisable that you do lookups only on names that if found to be available, you are ready to register immediately at that time. Though the 'private' tools such as Multilook lessen your search exposure(risk) as compared to doing lookups through a webform, those tools perform the lookups on the same whois databases that the website lookups use. Therefore, there is still a slight risk if you don't register your lookups immediately.
