Augmented Reality (AR) domains

Last night I ignored the urge to register SpaceShipThree.com , and today the .com .net .org and .whatnot is all taken.

Today I decided to redeem myself and find another good dn investment. After a bit of investigation I discovered the huge potential of Augmented Reality: Google Trends: augmented reality . The estimated AR market size in 2014 is $732,000,000 , especially in AR marketing.

I think adverts and billboards shown as augmented reality on mobiles will become simply huge, and so I decided to get a piece of the pie, all new .com registrations:

It is interesting to note that cvrapp.co has been registered since 2014 and shows that you may have good fortune with the "cvr" acronym. Perhaps the owner of the .co would be interested in the .com if there is a serious project behind it.

I like the first one better too. At first when I saw the AR + "multiplayer" keyword I couldn't see a lot of value because gaming on AR isn't going to be so great ... however now I like it. Games inevitably will be played on AR devices and of course there will be multiplayer games in AR, "multiplayer" as a keyword in that case is sweet because it covers all games that are multiplayer ... which is a nice broad umbrella to catch a lot of games.

I see it as more of a future app though too, to help "multiplayer" players of real outdoor games like Paintball or other sports where a GPS advantage would be used. You ever play FPS games in multiplayer? How like when you're playing, and you can see all your teamates and/or enemies in a little HUD on the side or top of the screen? That would be a nice app to help real/live outdoor multiplayer games.

My favorite game is "Borderlands 2" btw hehe ...

Nice You might have to let it age for a minute but it will be worth it.

I'm still liking my "Mobile AR" keyword combos, but keeping to safety with an obvious domain winner:

mobileARxxx.com

I am so surprised no one took that yet. I've been budgeting hard this week to get it. Now my monopoly of top 3 porn industry keywords are complete for mobile ar domains; sex, porn and xxx.

Somebody has been listening to me because I was looking to get some other non-porn winners but... all gone

Think of mobile AR apps, I'm seeing what mobile AR will be soonest...

It's holding up your phone or tablet while looking at the camera image, think of how you could augment that and think of app names. Go obvious though and keep the keywords to one, going two keywords (not advised) if necessary.

EDIT: Also, domain names that are just "mobile" + 1 keyword should be considered, if it can plausibly done by looking through a mobile device at something.
