advice Auction related domain, advice needed

Hello Folks,

If you were going to build an auction/listing items for sale type of website, what would you use?

keyword+list.com
or
keyword+bids.com

On one side I understand the immediate connection between the keyword and bids but on the other the idea of listing your item also makes sense, something like craigslist (its just an example but not exactly same thing).

your suggestions/advice would be appreciated.

I would probably use keyword + list.

That way, you can diversify into other types of sales (Not just auction sales).

My personal feeling, list is a pretty boring term. Bids is a good kind of call to action word IMO.

Your example makes me think it would always be compared to Craigslist, which isn't always such a good thing.

Perhaps Keyword+sales or brandable+sales would be a better option to cover listings and bids.

To answer your original question, I prefer bids to list. But I also like auctions and sales.
