Sales today at the auction were:

Daytona.tv $950 LocalExperts was the Buyer
SaintPetersburg.tv $110 SKG was the Buyer
HDiptv.tv $25 Atypical was the buyer
Abroad/Roaming/Changes package deal $45 Atypical was the buyer

This time a lot of domains were priced lower and still not that many sales. Possibly people are coming looking to pick up a name for $10 to $30 When really dirt cheap at a .tv auction is $50-$150

Thank you to everyone who participated and we will look to promote on a bigger scale for the next .tv auction.

I took it to mean that more domain investors are on this board

than end users. Obviously, I'm an end user. We have several end users who are developing (SKG, Millers, Searching, etc), but I think the end users are concentrating on their top domains vs losing focus being too broad (which by the way should be a concern. I saw an entire industry get creamed with almost every company in the space going out of business b/c the niche was too broad)

Until sales pick up, I think most investors are going to shy away from investing $XXX unless they have specific plans to develop a domain.

GEO is hot, but the number of aftermarket GEO purchases is going to dry up very soon due to limited inventory in a reasonable price range and the pending release of the premium GEO domains (most appear to be priced below $1,000/yr).

For example, CapeCoral.tv is for sale at SEDO, but the seller expects $10,000. Youngstown.tv wants $3,500. All these prices are not crazy, but they are too high based on current market conditions with limited #s of end users willing to pay more than $1,000.

Crazy is the guy who responded $100,000 to my inquiry for one GEO domain.

Absolutely LOCAL the only pure end user on this board is you. There is a difference in going to develop a domain or two and having the business and company you have. I thought there were plenty of good buys listed today. Second chance auction may get some interest in the good buys that did not sell in the auction

Not to raise question in any validity of your arguments, but I set the starting bid kyrgyzstan.tv (a real country name) & Nagasaki.tv in low $XXX in order to encourage bidding (suprised it got 0). Highly reasonable. You can always find me liquidating some sort of .TV (heck sold off kathmandu.tv for $80).
