Let me make clear as not to waste anyones time, This is not an auction to be looking to find a $20 bargain very few domains will have a starting price of $1 or even $30. Each Buyer sets their starting price so there is no buyout fee. They must accept an offer since there starting price was what they would accept ata minimum

I have never participated in an auction. Can you provide detailed instructions on how we can participate in this auction?

There will be a chatroom set up when you click chat you will look for the ROOM

Come into chat
We will start with the first name xxxxxx.tv Starting price $100 If you wish to bid type in $100 That is the opening bid if a minute passes and there are no other people typing a higher bid the auction will go GOING 30 seconds Going 30 seconds GONE SoLD or No sale if there was no bid

Then the next domain will go on auction

I also would like to know whether this is possible.

In addition:

1) Can we submit bids prior to the bidding (if we may not be able to monitor the auction minute by minute?

2) If we want a particular domain, how do we know when to check the auction, especially if we have other commitments throughout the day that require our attention?

Well in all honesty SF auctions done in Chatrooms don't have the same professional nuances as say a Live Auction. This is not Sothebys

To answer the question of why the starting min bids were not given? That is not done in any other auctions and someone may see starting bids and think forget those names but in the auction they see some others interested and that may spark some interest in the domain

SF IF someone sees a domain I will take a proxy bid if you have something on a domain on the list you can PM me. So lets say xxxxxx.tv you are interested in and the starting bid is $100 if you have a $100 bid I will type $100 BID SF per proxy. You must pm me now no one has ever heard of this service in a CHATROOM auction but I will provide that if wanted by anyone. BUT:
You must pm it
I will make the PM public to anyone who asks so they know it for real
Meaning if you have a proxy of $200 and that outbids Gamehouse and he says(hypothetically) I think you were pushing the bid up to make me pay more I want to see the PM I will forward the PM to him
SO all prxy bids must be pmmed by 2pm start time

This auction will go fast many of the domains will not get an offer I know this, not that they are not good domains just I know the starting prices

Thank you for clarifying this although I have never participated in either a professional or nonprofessional auction other than eBay. I am sure it is very difficult to run one of these auctions, much less do the planning as you have. I just want to say I definitely appreciate it.
