Hi,

What do I build at AthleticsDepot.com? I don't want it to be a large project, like an online store... unless you could give me some ideas on how to do it easily and bring in revenue & traffic.

Well, in a first stage you could make an athletic-equipment directory. You can list suppliers, online stores etc...
And you can also have reviews of products (sneakers etc.)
This can be done with a minimum amount of resources.

I actually know nothing about sports, so reviews is out of the question.

But, I may add a list of suppliers and retailers, online and in major urban areas. Thanks!

Your directory should be made with affiliate links wherever possible and slowly move to feature items as if they were listed on your site for sale.

I would add an Athletics news feeds and a small forum too.
I own a Tennis site with 3,000 members and I know sports fans really get addicted to good sites. I'm moving to incorporate affiliate links soon, so I'd recommend this as the best thing possible.

I could rotate the advertised store... each time it was visited... but internet companies only so it can reach the world Not local outlets :p
