Does anyone have an opinion on the .at extension, why it seems to have no value. There have been a few decent sales in .at in recent months.

I completely disagree that .at has no value. I have a few .at domains and they all do very well. I think that 100% of my .at portfolio is going to make over their fees. They may not have value to some, but to me, .at names are very good.

Hello there. :)

Do you have any nice English or German/Deutsch .AT domains?

Have you got any sales to report?

What about traffic or parking earning?

Anything interesting going on?

Thanks for opening this topic DB ;)
I have one question for our Austrian friends: how popular is .co.at vs .at ? Is it worth having both ?

I'm interested in that too!

I've already gone down that road with .Co.in and .IN before, which was 'still' almost split 50/50 last time I checked.

I have never seen a .co.at advertised, but would be interested to hear off of someone who lives in Austria and not just passes through once in a blue moon whether that is the case.

I have got just two .at domains

hotelbookings.at
hotelsvienna.at ( this one has paid for itself several times over through revenue earned from being parked !! )

I have two. VALUED.AT and URANIUM.AT both parked at Sedo and no revenue from either of them.

I like Oils.at! There have been some great sales with the .at extension. Of course, the majority of the good keywords at gone, if not all. I think there's still hope though, to find a gem!

As I know, co.at is not really popular. Although there are some big companies owning co.at, most go for .at

I know only one large company which is using co.at - CPB (cpb.co.at)

I personally do not see much value in .at as well - austiran population is just 8 million, roughly 1 million regged .at domains. No room for future growth imho.

I myself own only few .at domains (i.e. immoland.at), prefering .com, .net, and .org.

i live in austria and i would recommend to not register any .co.at โ€“ they are worthless. to be honest i also wouldn't recommend to register any .at domain. traffic is at least 10 times smaller than with .de-domains. the amount of .at-keyword-domains with value is much smaller than in germany. the .at-key has to be much stronger compared to the .de-counterpart to have any value. and don't forget that we are a german-speaking country, so probably 95% of the valuable .at-keys are in german language.

it's almost impossible for me as a german speaking austrian to register any valuable .at-domains, so i think it's even harder for non-german-speaking domainers. ALL the valuable names have been registered a long time ago. in case of a drop, all valuable names get catched by professional drop-catchers like realtime.at.

You are from Austria so you would know better than me but I am happy with the traffic/revenue I have with my .at domains.
