I own and operate one year old but largest social network for my country with close to 100,000 registered members. Some one of a high profile in IT industry (Not websites though) who can bring great value in the company is interested to invest in us.

Whereas we do have some cash cows to make both ends meet but are still trying to make this particular venture's cash flow positive and are very hopeful regarding starting making decent money in few months down the road.

So far we have already invested over $75,000 USD on the project. I am not sure how I can assess our current value of the site to be added in the sheets to drive some practical partnership share for the investor. I know there can never be an accurate formula to evaluate such a start-up but just do not want to under/over estimate this projects potential.

Can anyone help us in this? How much worth you would put in on if you were the owner?

PS: BTW, the community is fairly active with over 2 Million private messages being sent, and around .5 Million content items being shared in terms of images, videos, songs, polls, blogs, forum topics, etc... We get over 200 daily sign-ups, generates over 50k pv with around 5k unique daily. On average, there are 3-5 activities happening each minute these days.

I would talk to a financial advisor or a bank to discuss the value.Any information that you are given here is only an estimate without having an indepth look at it.

Having someone say its worth low xxx.xxx and the next saying posibly worth high xxx.xxx will not help only confuse.All I can say is that in 1 year,with over 100000 members an no1 social network of your country in such a short time it has only got the potential to grow and fast.Any current value will look low in 6 months time.
