Hi all,

This might be old news for you, but I just discovered that Amazon has a Yahoo Answers like site called askville.com.

Is this site mainly marketed in US, cause I dont remember ever hearing about this in Denmark?

Anybody wants to share their thoughts about askville.com vs Yahoo Answers?

Thanks.

I just don't think it will replace Yahoo Answers, as the speed is just way too slow.

i have heard of that site but it is nowhere as big as yahoo answers and i would not go there looking for answers. and as was mentioned above yahoo answers are multilingual and i think that they are also translating some answers to local versions. answerbag or yedda seem bigger to me

I actually prefer Yahoo answers. There have been a number of times where the answer to a question I have searched for in google returns a Yahoo answer. :) This to me means that they have already captured the audience for this type of site and askville might of entered into the market a little late. Isn't askville owned by Amazon?

yahoo answers is by Yahoo. that branding will out perform something like askville, especially the massive traffic at Yahoo.

what do you think?
