While we're all nervously twidling our thumbs waiting for our .asia auction logins, does anyone know how the Golive phase will play out?

A couple of specific questions I have:

• if you apply for a name from March 26, will you immediately get it? Sounds obvious but at the same time given Landrush closed on the 12th of March I thought I'd have the domains that didn't go to auction in my account by now!
• which registrars are the smartest and will be able to process GoLive applications the fastest?

Interested in your thoughts on these questions and any other questions people might have about the GoLive phase.

That said, many of us will probably be busy licking our wounds from the Landrush phase to put too much energy into GoLive!

But I believe I went into the asia.org site and read something that Golive is now moved to the 28th???

Anyone can confirm this???

Someone had mentioned that to me as well, but I can't find anything on the dotasia site to confirm that (I find it hard to find information there, it looks pretty but navigates poorly).

The ticker is still on course for original 26th date/time. Still, given all the previous botches and their general bad organisation, i would not at all be surprised if the ticker expires and then an hour later they put up a notice saying that it's delayed a week lol.

I saw that too. However, note that they also still let you register names and they are still classed as 'landrush' type regs even though landrush is closed - wtf?

I have doubt before that much of the domains that I regged suddenly disappeared from my list of regged domains and got refunded without those domains going to auction? That is why I'm skeptical on regging with them now before the 28th.

What If you regged on Golive on the 26th with them and it is still considered for landrush and you loose the domain. Whats wrong with that?

Go live is 26th and they should adhere to it!!!

(28th date is showing on the Coupon Ad for 10Euros)
