Hello everyone.

I'm wondering how much you think the domain ASEANWay.com is worth.

A little background:

"ASEAN Way" about 15,500,000 searches in Google mainly because they are searching for the way ASEAN-member countries' non-interference policy in domestic affairs of each other, a widely criticized policy by the rest of the world. But this could be turned into a travel site to the ASEAN and could be rebranded as "Way to the ASEAN region". The ASEAN Region is aiming to be economically united by 2015(and soon to be an EU like community) so today or the next year would be a good time to start developing this geodomain.

MicroGuy, sorry for the confusion. The 15K approximate searches I referred to is the one that gets displayed by a dropdown suggestion box whenever you search in Google. I think it's named "search suggestion" or something similar. The 17k you referred were the search result for the keyword "ASEAN Way".

The site is currently parked now so yes, it's not yet developed. I was supposed to ask how much anyone would pay for the name given it's potential if it gets developed.

Thanks for the insight though MicroGuy. I hope you could do a reevaluation based on the clarified info.

Hopefully others will chirp in...take any single appraisal with a grain of salt. You need at least 4 or 5 before you can get a good solid valuation estimate.

However, I'm currently going to stick to my guns on the price. Good luck!

I'm looking at the google keyword tool, and it shows 480 searches a month for "asean way".

You can check for yourself:

When I do a search for "asean way" at google.com I see that it has been been used 16,500 times.

So basically, it is rarely used and/or searched for. I would have to say reg fee for this domain name based on the above numbers.

Thanks for your evaluation.

Anyway, I really still think that if anyone has this domain for a travel company to the ASEAN, they wouldn't have a hard time ranking in Google and other search engines.

Any other opinion?
