Article (Management) Scripts?

I'm looking for a script that would let me set up categories and then post articles in those categories. I am mainly looking for something than can be searched and that can provide an RSS feed automatically. All I really want is to be able to post the stupid articles. All I can find are blog/news scripts that have a summary on the main page and user comments. I was just wondering if anyone knew of anything that was free that could do that. Otherwise, I will probably take the news or blog script and modify it until it does what I want.

I checked OpenCMS and didn't find anything too great. The scripts were either CMS and could do the whole article thing, but were a little bit of over kill for what I need. I just want the articles and nothing else. The blog software wasn't quite what I was looking for. I think I found a script that would be easy to customize to what I want.
