If I list a domain on say Godaddy or Flippa auctions, and someone bids on it, am I committed to sell it or can I remove the domain from auction coz I may have sold it elsewhere after starting the auction?

@Jetheat - when you put one of your domain names up for auction, it is the right thing to do to remove the domain name from all other marketplaces. This will keep you from having an ongoing auction but selling the name on another marketplace while the auction is live. It is bad domain practice to run an auction and still have the name for sale elsewhere.

the only way out is to put a reserve price,
and if the auction reach the reserve price you must commit to the bidder

if you are not sure that the auction will reach a certain level, just put a reserve price

UncleBrand said it best, put a reserve on it. A lot of auction places will ban you for not following through on a sale so be mindful when listing in auctions.

You most follow through. But as stated above, you may use reserve to stop it from selling to avoid suspension.

The last thing you want is to be suspended from them places, so that you wont have them as avenues for selling future domains to. Hope you reserved it.

Namesilo auctions with no active bid can be deleted. Then the domain can be listed elsewhere.
If the auction has received a bid you have to wait until the end of auction or until someone BIN.
