domain Are SEO domains still hott? Appraise Please.

I would like it very much if you would let me know how much just the domain would be worth? Are the seo*.com domains still hott or are they gone the way of so last year (so to speak).

phpbb is a type of forum coding format like vbulletin.

I would register seoyourforum.com which fits a better description imo.

You got me... I didn't realize that they were hot in recent times. I am an SEO Pro, and since SEO experts and such understand the Internet, and there are so many good names available to register, I wouldn't think so.

However, IF you can keep SEOphpBB.com updated with the current information on how to optimize phpBB, I know the site would be valuable. But optimizing phpBB is a huge mess and hasn't worked with the latest versions. Plus, phpBB poses security problems that have never been addressed, simple issues with the interface, piss-poor IP logging and reporting, piss-poor ban tools, etc... Plus it offers no out-of-shelf optimization techniques like vBulletin.

But, I have learned the hard way.

Well, they do have hacks that will offer a Seach Engine Optimised version of the forum script. If I were to develop the domain I would go and throw all those hacks, mod's into the most recent version and offer it for download, along with having different area's on a SEO'd phpBB forum to talk about how to further SEO phpBB, again that is if I were to develop the domain.

seoyourforum.com would be to long of a name though. Plus, brandablity I would think "Search Engine Optimised phpBB" would be a good niche then to go to broad with the focus of the domain.

Well, I was following site / domain sells on a few other forums a couple of months back and was seeing domains with seo in the name go for 25$~100$. I haven't been watching them for the last couple of months. Looking at the newest sells I don't see any for sell. That is why I am asking if they are still selling pretty good or as I put it "hott".

I'm sure that if you parked it at NameDrive or something, it would get hits. If it pays for itself, it's worth reg fees easy. Maybe you can make something out of it.
