Do you just but the domain and list it on marketplaces and auction sites and thats's that? Hoping that someone stumbles across it/ hoping to get lucky?

Or do you advertise them? via social media, your own website etc.

The first part seems a hit and miss. hoping that someone finds it in a marketplace that has over 100,000 active listings.

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
Domains with a premium price are usually purchased by either investors or end users that have an idea for a business.

An end user that is set on a name will usually go to that domain or search it on a registrar site. They won't go to a marketplace to search.

An end user that doesn't know what name they want but they know the keywords for it, might go to a marketplace but I think most will just come up with different names and search if they are available or visit the site.

Most big sales are made to end users that have an idea right now and they are hung up on one specific name.

In this business you are waiting for someone with money to have an idea that loves your name and everyone is telling them that the name is the best thing and they must get it.
