So do you think e_____.us domains are worth it now? If so, why or why not?

Not have a high value but some are worth to register it. like epoker.us, ecity.us etc are good names.

Humm... don't know it can be only known after we purchase it and sell it :D

Some names are good though but are not available.

Want an example: email.com, ecards.com <<< :D

Thanks guys. I went ahead and picked up eCareers.us because it seemed strong enough to me given the solid keyword there.

I have several e__________.us names and get at least weekly hits on them.

Ha, you got the eCareer.us...
I got the iCarrers.us for Internet.

What you need to think about is that "e" has been used to denote a product or service marketed through or available on the Internet. As the Internet just becomes another common sales channel, the line will be increasingly blurred between online and offline marketing and sales, and "e" will no longer have a purpose. That is beginning to happen already. I believe that "e" dot com, net and org names are losing value daily and so when it comes to less established domain extensions, even one I strongly support like dot us, I don't think it makes a lot of sense in the long run to register or buy an "e" domain.

Maybe if you hold on to it for 5 years.

I think if the keyword is really great after the "e" then it is worth it, but in most cases I would stay away from it. In general they are fine for development, but most people are going to be disappointed if you try to sell them a .us domain which most people look down on a little bit (I'm not quite sure why) and the "e" which is fading out as Fundraiser mentioned. It sounds like you picked up a nice domain though!

Primarily a long shot imo, the e______.us domain idea. But, eCareers.us is probably one that stands a chance. If you don't go gung-ho on the concept, then you're not out much and it's a decent gamble.

i ventured off into regging some "e" and "i" names a while back

eWomen.us
iStockBroker.us
eCamera.us
eRevenue.us
eLaptop.us

i regged a LLLL.us aswell using "u" uski.us

and a few more in .com and .net

I have seen some fairly decent sales of "e" names on sedo,I don't know what the future holds for them, but i will most likely hang on to mine and see...Arguably the biggest and most successful dating site on the net "eHarmony.com" Has made thier "e" stand out quite nicely.
