Hi there

My site is www.PimpedRides.co.uk and it runs using i-Rater Platinum software. It's basically a Hot-or-Not but for modified cars.

At the end of this month I'm adding a virtual car gallery section, and filtering out all the inactive users with no vehicle images or specs in order to ensure the site runs efficiently and that there aren't so many blank profiles.

The site currently averages 79 unique hits a day, and just over $2 a day in revenue. In terms of links to other sites, there are a number, but these need to be terminated due to no reciprocal response. More links will be appearing soon, and the overall look of the site will be developed over the coming months.

In terms of the modified car industry, it's one of the fastest growing in the world and is currently worth well over £600million a year. The hit US MTV series "Pimp My Ride" has encouraged this growth, and there will be a special UK Pimp My Ride series broadcasted towards the end of the year. There are also modified car racing games such as "Need For Speed Underground" that encourage industry growth.

In light of this information, and the current growth rate of the site, does anyone have any ideas as to its general value? (the i-Rater software alone is worth £80).

Just by looking at all of your information I would say that it would be worth about $5000. The one thing that I based the price on the most was how you said there is going to be a UK Pimp My Ride, which could spark your site.

At the moment it has 87 members, but this is increasing at the rate of around 8 a week. It's been going since 26th January, but the last month has seen a large increase in interest, primarily thanks to it being ranked #1 and #2 on MSN.co.uk searches, as well as a good ranking on MSN.com and Google.co.uk
