The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
.US domains.US domains
$0 each. Most of them just dont match the extension IMO.

I tend to agree with the $0 unless you were to develop a site around them and do some serious seo to bring them up in search rankings.

I completely disagree with the above two posts. Most of the names are keywords and they are real gems, they entirely fit with the extension.

PS. I am not a fan of .pro and do not own any .pro name.

There is an issue with goodness of fit but some of the keywords fit the extension well. For example, Building.pro is a very good fit. Building Pro Dot Com is a developed website so whoever set up that company must have thought building and pro worked OK together. Risk.pro is another nice fit, Risk.biz sold for $1,245 in May 08.

I used to own Shows.pro, it's a good name for a site selling theatre tickets, you have the O-O rhyming element too, Shows.mobi sold for $20,000 in Feb 08 and Shows.info $2,450 in May 07, and Shows.tv sold for $1,981 in Feb 07, any keyword selling in 3 alternative extensions is rare.

Even .pros which on the surface look like they don't fit like Kittens.pro and Puppies.pro could be used by professional cat and dog breeders. Horoscopes.info sold for $7,750 in May 07. You can be a pro at providing horoscopes and people search for the keyword. I don't think end users are going to take your horoscopes more or less seriously because your site is a .info or .pro. If it's not a .com, you'd better have a search engined optimised site with excellent content, I don't think it matters whether it's a .mobi, .biz, .info or .pro, they are all gTLD's.

Animal.pro is a very good name for an animal rights site. The problem is people looking to develop an animals rights site are probably going to opt for .org or .com and aren't going to have much cash to spend on a domain, but again I think it's a good name for that purpose.

I agree with Akcampbell

The following .pro are nice to me

Types of businesses and professions now eligible for dot-pro include: Lawyers, Accountants, Engineers, Doctors, Architects, Dentists, Educators, Chiropractors, Veterinarians, Surveyors, Plumbers, Inspectors, Investment Advisors, Real Estate Brokers, Insurance Brokers, Nurses, Opticians, Optometrists, Podiatrists, Psychologists, Therapists, Social Workers, Building Contractors, Electricians, Patent and Trademark Examiners, Court Reporters, Police and Fire Safety Officers and any other profession where an official credential is required for a business or individual to offer services.

I have highlight the professions that fit nicely with Building.pro and Risk.pro

I think those two are the best of the bunch and definiately worth a fair bit more than the current reg fee, especially if you can find an end user for them.

I have just one .pro (template.pro), but I do like the .pro extension.

I like Animal(s).pro and Risk.pro, but I think thay are not the best .pro related domains... Anyway, IMHO you could ask for medium/high XXXX USD for each one. :gl:

Hi

As all the experts have said. I agree with them. I feel IMHO if some of the domains would have made money like anything if they were singular.

thanking you,

with best regards,

sundari.

Tnx for answers :)

I think this names will help to promote sites with search engines.
because some of link must be a domain name. In our case domain name is a key :)

And they are short and brandable names

You might want to "phone" this in: It's perfectly acceptable to not be a fan of .PRO. Even I lose some love for the extension from time to time. That said, your appraisal is wholly inaccurate, and potentially hurtful to the requesting party. If an appraisal concerns Pro, just say no. (Please)
