We're holding PuppyCam.com as a promotional site name for, eg:
- a major pet food company
- a large pet supplies retail chain
- a breeder's association such as the American Kennel Club
I won't go into here the ways such a site can be built and promoted, but I think any experienced traffic/viral practitioner would agree that this name has huge potential for attracting qualified pet owners, and their kids. It's also potentially a site that would be welcomed in schoolrooms (with the right supporting content, of course.) We conclude the name can drive net incremental pet-related prods/svcs sales well in excess of US$2-5 mil per year.
OK, so what should we be aiming for as the sell price when we list the site for sale? (Please keep in mind that we will be approaching prospective buyers directly, since we cannot expect any auction site to be seen by the marketing types we need to talk to for this one.)
