I comes up for renewal next month. Should I keep it or let it drop? What do you think it's worth?

Thanks in advance.

I would let it drop.

I'll bet there is a real estate agent in South Carolina that would pay mid-$xxx for this.

I would say it depends on how willing you are to market the name and the sc extension to end-users. Marketed as Real-estate.sc where .sc=South Carolina or Source, you might find an end-user interested in the name. Granted, the hyphen doesn't help and it may be a good idea to avoid hyphens in general for ccTLDs, but there is at least a glimmer of hope with this name, IMHO. Enough hope to compensate for the high renewal fees? I leave that to you.

Good ideas Nameluxe and Gene. Thanks for the appraisal Showbiz2.

I've previously sold realtor dot sc for a tidy sum. It's the dash that gets me. The good news is that "Real-Estate" is taken in every tld and cctld.

Any more thoughts?

Better than "realtor" as realtor is a regged tm.

Obviously you'd lose some traffice to the non-hyphenated version,
but as Gene says:
I'll bet there is a real estate agent in South Carolina that would pay mid-$xxx for this.
I'd tend to agree.

I had an offer from a South Carolina person for Lottery.sc so they do like the extension.

Start drawing up a list of possible candidates asap. :tu:
