domain Appraisal - phone.claims

I bought phone.claims many years ago, and the cost to renew keeps going up. Wondering it if is worth it to keep.

Anyone have an idea on what it would be worth?

There are no dot claims aftermarket sales reported at Namebio. Dot claims registrants are either brave patient pioneers or trading in the shadows. Phone is a great second level domain but the renewal cost and aftermarket demand for dot claims top level domain would convince me to turn auto renew off and start a $1 no reserve auction. If my dream business was phone claims I’d shift gears, hand reg cellclaims dot com and live happily ever after. Good luck!

My thought in purchase was that it would be a great competing domain to asurion and their phoneclaim, etc. but .claims hasn't grown like I've expected it :/ part of investing though.

Most new gTLDs are long holds. This one is good but you have to be prepared to wait for the market to catch up.

Appears it will be that way, I'll keep holding for a few more years. I'm sure that this will be worth something soon

for the renewal price you can purchase others domains that have more value and will be easier to sell if i was in your position i would drop it. good luck

Renewal is $38. Not necessarily crazy, but also not cheap. I think its worth another 2-3 years and see what happens.
