Think the easiest way to get an account set up is to register a domain.

it's even lower if you use their coupons. Like the 25 % and 40% stuff they routinely email.

nevermind. I just tried it... for 2 year deals they wont allow the coupons, but it does work for 3 years. I used the 40% off coupon: fbhpg40 and a .com costs $27.52 for 3 years. THat's like $9 and change each year.

I mean if you're planning on keeping your domains long-term, you should choose a registrar that wont screw you over somehow -- and GD is one of those registrars. So if you're renewing for 3 years, go to GD. If you're planning on flipping within 1 - 3 months, go with Epik or something like that.

Correct, buying domains in long-term always get a better price than renewal every year.
