I noticed this as well....Not sure what Google is playing at these days.

Interesting to mess around with but not as much customization as I would prefer but it's ok for now....just tickering with it as we speak.

google sites is actually almost a year old already, and was released as a competitive product against microsoft sharepoint.

Yea, I just tried it on a test site for fun and it is really lacking in features. I wouldn't waste any time on it.

I couldn't figure out how to upload pics from my computer.

Also, when I tried embedding a YouTube video (of my granddaughter) the thing went into a snit and said my code was unacceptable and would be removed.

It's designed for someone who has never turned on a computer.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts guys. I too tried it on a test site. Its features are limited and no where near to WordPress.
